Sometimes children feel sad, angry, or confused. They might be struggling with their behaviours which get them into trouble. 


PLAY in MIND uses a contemporary integrative approach to therapy, recognising the need for different techniques and methods depending on presenting issue, child factors, and the stage of therapy.

PLAY in MIND uses a contemporary integrative approach to therapy, recognising the need for different techniques and methods depending on presenting issue, child factors, and the stage of therapy. 

A Play Therapist will conduct a comprehensive intake interview with the primary care givers, where concerns and the child's requirements will be discussed and assessed.

Group Sessions

The Play Therapist supports children to work therapeutically using the added dimension of social peer relationships, team work and problem solving. Please enquire for a detailed group play session quotation.


Strengthening Child-Parent Relationships with Filial Therapy: Program

Creating more hugs, more respect, more connection in your family.

  • 1.5 hr training session just for parents. Via Zoom or Microsoft Teams.
  • Supported play sessions with one child & one parent.
  • Online video meetings to brief, provide feedback, and extend support for the transition into everyday routine.

Virtual Intake Meeting

Following completion of Intake Package a  meeting with the Play Therapist to discuss referral needs in depth. 

Parenting Strategies Consultation

$150

A meeting with the Play therapist/ Behaviour Support Practitioner to discuss concerns and equip you with effective strategies. 

Progress Meeting

$150 p/hr

Discussion of your child's therapeutic goals, progress, and psychoeducation. 

Recommended after every 4 to 6 sessions.

Including Allied Health Team Consultation, School Observation, Teacher Meetings.
